I began my career as a high school science teacher, teaching across all the sciences for five years. But I was drawn to massage therapy. However, it wasn't long before I realized my clients needed more than my training had given me — their situations were more complicated than a standard massage could address.
Then I was drawn to lymphatic work. So many of my clients were dealing with edema, and I needed better tools to help them, so I trained at the Norton School of Lymphatic Therapy and became a Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT).
From there, CranioSacral Therapy called to me. I've completed well over 200 continuing education hours with the Upledger Institute, and it opened up an entirely new way to work with clients who were in pain and for whom massage simply wasn't appropriate. CranioSacral Therapy also allowed me to work with the emotional aspects of wellbeing.
Finally, functional medicine brought it all together. With my master's degree in zoology from Brigham Young University and everything I'd learned in bodywork, my certification through Functional Medicine Fast Track gave me the final piece: the ability to look for the root cause of what my clients were actually dealing with.
It had bothered me for years, watching people get sicker, spending more time in doctors' offices, and still not understand what was really going on in their bodies — and not making real progress. Functional medicine changed that for me, and for them.
I love this journey I've been on. Every certification, every new tool, has been with one goal in mind: being able to truly help the people who walk through my door.

When I'm not in the treatment room, you'll find me outside — hiking, trail running, backpacking, flat-water kayaking, or camping. I've hiked the Grand Canyon rim-to-rim four times. I moved to St. George in 2006 to raise my children near family, and I fell in love with the Southwest. My children are grown now with families of their own, and I'm a proud grandmother to four grandchildren.

Great bodywork does more than relieve tension — it opens the door to understanding why that tension keeps coming back. At Radiant Functional Wellness, our clinical bodywork is one half of a deeper approach to root-cause healing. If you find yourself wondering why chronic pain, inflammation, or fatigue keep returning despite treatment, the answer may lie in your gut, your hormones, or your nervous system. We'd love to introduce you to the other half of what we do.
